Pleasure&Pain

As my days pass here in Tulum Mexico I´m getting more and more convinced that I was borned to to inspire my surroundings to really enjoy life. Enjoy and listen.
I mean really indulge in the fact that life is a pleasurable mystery.
Because right here and now I´m so damn good at it.
Belly breathing. Pleasure inside out. A treat that lasts forever. If I want to.
Like a yoga practice which never ends. It`s always here.
A practice for life.
Life IS 
In every moment incredible as it is.

Prisoners in paradise


I`ve only been in Bali a little longer than 2 weeks and it feels like I`ve been around here for at least year.
In some kind of strange way.
Everyday is a blessing. And the blessings are not always sweet but depending on how you see it it is truly a blessing.
The first week were all about getting prepared and treating my jet lag with care.


This week at beautiful Bambu Indah I`ve discovered that I really like to eat indonesian rice porridge with garlic, chili and peanuts for breakfast. In a banana leaf of course.
I`ve been diving deeper into my asana and meditation practice.
I`ve met new amazing people who share the same passion for life affirming practices like me.
I´ve explored my inner organs. And for sure making friends with my kidneys.
I`ve felt a quite strong earthquake in the middle of the night.
I`ve been making intentions.
Blessings.

Bali is truly the Land Of Blessings and Offerings.
Only in Bali you get an offering at your doorstep every single day.
Only in Bali you wake up at 5 in the morning, listening to the sound of a pig who gets sacrificed to the ceremony of Galungan. 
Only in Bali you have this amazing wiew of the ricefields while having your bath in the bathtube.
And only here in Bali you are waking up to the sweet smell of insence mixed with rice and frangipani from these daily offerings.

These little carafes of flowers and piles of petals are placed on your house, doorstep, on the street, everywhere in Bali. Some appearing in the early morning hours and others replacing the trampled petals of late afternoon.
The daily gift of offerings are meant to appease and please the various gods and demons of Balinese Hinduism.

Immersion 1 completed.

I`m ready for number 2.

I love being a prisoner in this paradise.

Face your fears

Most of our fears are not based in reality.

It can be related to a situation. An emotion. To speak out in a big group. To surrender. To be vulnerable. To stop smoking. To eat chocolate. To love.
To show who we really are.

I`m still having a hard time flying, even if I`ve been traveling long distance for many years. This year I`ve visited India, Crete, New York & San Fransisco.
Not by car ;)
With a jumping heart, catastrophic thoughts and shaky hands.
Every single flight.

In NYC i had an amazing experience.
20 minutes, a hot sunday morning -in a helicopter!
I felt weightless, safe and ectatic!
That makes me even more convinced that I really can work that fear.
Mostly in my practice.
Embrace it.

Invite the fear in your yogapractice.
Step out of your comfort zone.
Dare to step back and rest - if that scares you.
Dare to sweat a litte bit more - if that scares you more.
Dare to open your heart.
Love!

Be brave.
