Love yourself—accept yourself—forgive yourself—and be good to yourself, because without you the rest of us are without a source of many wonderful things

 Leo F. Buscaglia

Forgiveness heals. It makes us more humble. More positive. It enhances our ability to help others and our ability to help ourselves.

It makes us one. Instead of separate.
Unique but not separate.
Unite.

We know that no one can love us if we don’t love ourselves.
We know we shouldn’t blame ourselves for things other people have done.
We know we need to accept ourselves or else we’ll never be happy.
But even if we do know all these things we tend to forget.
We do know intellectually.
And we forget how it is to know it from the inside.
Feeling it. Own it -  from deep within.
We need a reminder. A breath. A pause. A reflection.
And accept that this is how it is. And we are good enough.
I forgive myself for not knowing.

Forgiving isn’t easy.
If we want to heal, we must learn to forgive.
Forgive others without grudges and most importantly, forgive ourselves.
We are not alone.
We’re all human.
And we are on this journey together.

Close your eyes. Take a deep breath.
And say to yourself:

“It’s not my fault”

Repeat and make that a manifest in your heart.
